5* Service and family atmosphere, with although close quarters amongst tables Respectfully Kept Conversation level's and I haven't mentioned the Tostada and Eggs (over easy on the eggs)! Great!
Finally got the chance to come by for breakfast today, after hearing all the stories of this place. Absolutely LOVE the food, people, & atmosphere. It definitely gives you that laid back old school feel, it was so nice! I can’t wait to come back! I got the French toast & my hubby got his migas! So so yummy!
Had an amazing breakfast at Goldrush Cafe this morning! It’s cozy inside without feeling cramped. There were a lot of regulars and it was fun to hear them talking to each other about what they’re up to. That gave it a nice, neighborly feel. The Owner (I think he was the Owner, or maybe he was the Manager) was very friendly and in good spirits manning the register, taking orders, and running food. There were a ton of great options on the menu. The the eggs were perfectly cooked and the sausage patties were amazing! My husband said they had the best fried egg he’s ever had! My order also had pancakes which were also very good!
I met a friend here this morning, and we had an excellent experience: Service: Outstanding, kept the coffee mugs full on a chilly morning, always with a smile and positive vibes. Food: I had the chicken fried steak and eggs over easy with crispy hash browns and biscuits/gravy, and every component of the plate was top notch, impressive execution for this little family diner. Space: we met at 8 to avoid a wait, and it worked. The place was packed when we left around 9:30. We had a comfy booth away from the door that was warm and cozy. HIghly recommended, will be back soon.
We love this place. Whenever in Dallas we are sure to go for breakfast. The owner always greets us with a friendly hello. He even knows our orders. Food is cooked perfectly. Great family atmosphere.
A great casual diner with a cool 80s-90s vibe. The food was cheap with most meals $15 and under. My biscuit and gravy was only $4 and the French toast was $7. Food came out quick and heated. Overall great experience.
Very small restaurant but the food was very good and classic. I got the steak and eggs and added a side of ham. The steak was pretty good for a $14 value. The ham was amazing, most definitely savory and I loved the char on it. For the amount of food I was heavily satisfied with the price.
I love this restaurant! The food is terrific when you go there. Please try John Wayne. I’m not a big fan of salsa, but this place's salsa is impressive. The cozy and comfy restaurant also!!! Don’t forget to get the waffle!! The price is reasonable too. Thanks for the good food! I will come back again.
